Knitting and Netflix!

The connection between knitting and Netflix developed into a playful exchange between my son and me. In the autumn of 2019, I made a life-altering decision to leave my home, bring my mother out of memory care, and move into a condo to provide her with the care she needed.

Though it was a challenging period for personal reasons, it turned out to be one of the most courageous and rewarding choices of my life. I mean, who removes their loved one from memory care? I had a strong, intuitive sense that it was the right thing to do, even though I knew her condition would deteriorate.

A few months later, the pandemic swept the world, and I felt profoundly grateful for following my heart and overcoming my doubts. During this transformative time, my son playfully nicknamed the sweaters I crafted after the series I used to watch while knitting. It never failed to make me smile when he called one of my creations my "Breaking Bad" sweater.

It's safe to say  knitting has become one of my most cherished creative outlets. I am thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of this knitting section within KS Creative Outlet in the coming months, where we will offer a delightful array of yarn, knitting kits, patterns, and much more!
